This is an excellent lens to use on an everyday shoot.This is the lens I have attached to my camera about 98% of the time.Great lighting features, robust, and good DOF is good for portraits. I would be careful about using the 150-200mm range without a tripod.The lens tends to move in your hand at this range and the picture comes out blurry. If you absolutely cannot travel with a tripod, I would go the extra $200 and purchase the image stable lens in this rang that Sigma also offers.If you do not want to spend much more than the lens, use a tripod for the TV, or try to keep the glass while supporting your arms on something stable. Otherwise, it's an excellent all encompassing lens..

I already had one of these batteries, plus the Lenmar charger.I bought this one as a backup.So far the batteries and charger seems to work well. I was concerned at first, because I put the new battery in the charger, and neither the charge light nor the ready light came on, and I thought the charger or the battery was faulty.Days later, after sufficient use, DID charger light comes on and seemed to charge the battery properly. So apparently, the new battery was already charged and the charger will not work until the charge drops to some level below maximum charge. The batteries seem to work well and the cost seems to last a reasonable use..

I cant say enough about this product.Canon did a wonderful job with it.I love using it.The construction is rock solid. Works perfect.It actually captures sound too when you do video under water, impressive!!! If I were to pick anything negative about it, it would be the fact that when you bring the case from under water to outside the water kind of streaks on the front lenses.Now, this could well be a common problem for each type of case, waterproof. Plus I was using it mostly in the ocean.Easily clean out though.Bottom line: I would recommend it..
